i'm back bitches!! long time no writey. this is a pretty long entry so read it if you're bored. haha
Well, I just got back from about a month's vacation. Time sure does fly when you're having fun. But just last night, I got back from a week's worth of fun in Hawaii! I had such a great time that I wish I can do it again. I'll post up pics once I'm in Davis at my computer. Anyways, here's what we did:
SUN: Arrived to Honolulu at 5ish. Checked into our suites and changed. Went to Waikiki Food Court. Walked around International Market and DFS Galleria. All of us girls got airbrush tats! We look G'd out man. haha j/p. And then at the end of the night we ended up kickin it in the guys' suite.
MON: To Waikiki Beach we go. Took hella pics like usual, tanned, swam in the salty ass ocean. Got some YUMMY shaved ice! Man I wish we had those here in SF and especially Davis since it gets hella hot up there in the summer time. For dinner we had L&L. YAY. Don't quite remember what else we did that night. Most likely it was drinking and smoking.
TUES: We all went to Ala Moana Mall and ended up splitting into groups. But I got to buy a t-shirt from Island Snow, 2 pairs of Local Flip flops, 3 tops from A/X, and a Prada keychain wallet. Boy does shopping make ME happy, but not my bank and cash. haha. After this day, I had to conserve till the last day so I had to eat very cheaply.
WED: The rest of the girls and Kenta and Gio woke up early to go to the swat meet. I on the other hand was hella tired and slept in for probably an extra hour. I think us leftovers went to take a dip in the hotel pool. Once everyone else got back, we headed to the beach again, but this time we went kayaking. It was actually pretty fun; we went hella far. All u can see in the distance is 12 bright yellow kayaks running into each other, people flipping off, "surfing"on the waves and just pure mayhem. haha. And then Christine and I attempted to go on an adventure but it ended up taking a deadly turn. Then at night, Marisal's friend Ray took all of us girls out to DnB. For some reason, the Dave & Buster's in Hawaii turns into a club at night --- I never knew that, but it's cool. Anyways, we couldn't go into club part, b/c none of the other girls were 21. But It was still fun; I just played video games and drank at the bar. And then at the end of the night, we went to eat at ZIPPY'S! Thanks Ray and Travis for taking us out. shootz!
THURS: In the daytime, us girls ate at some Paradise Grill place with Ray on his lunch break. Then afterwards, all the girls went surfing except for me, b/c I didn't feel like it so I just stuck with the boys. They decided to go take a journey to Diamondhead (for all of you who don't know, Diamondhead is a large crater in the island of O'ahu). Basically, for about 40 minutes, we hiked one mile UP mountain, not up hill, but UP mountain. Shit is tiring. Somehow I managed to be sav and hike in flip flops. Once you reach the top and think you're almost there, you're NOT b/c you have to take like 5 flights of stairs that go straight UP no turns and bends, just straight up. Dood was my legs aching, but I couldn't bitch out cuz I was with all the guys and it would seem girly so I had to just suck it up and go. haha. In the end, it was quite worth it b/c of the beautiful view we saw of the island. Once we took that 40 min. hike back down, we treated ourselves to some good ole SHAVED ICE. again.
At the end of the night, the girls and I went to check out this club called Zanzibar. Judging from the people in line, I came to the conclusion that it was really touristy and not my type of crowd. So Kat and I decided to ask this bouncer/security guy some questions bout it and then somehow we just ended up getting in for free which was tyte, b/c I wasn't about to pay $10 to check this piece of shit out. My guesses were right; it was not cool and they played shitty music so we just bouced early.
FRI: Our whole group bus-ed it to Hanauma Bay to go snorkeling. Once we got there around 12, there was a fatty ass line of people. And then we had to waste 10 min. watching a video on snorkeling rules. When we finally got to snorkel, it was REALLY FUN and amazing to see all the different kinds of living organisms under the water. I saw hella colorful fishes, 3 big ass sea turtles, and one puffer fish. Also, there were these reefs that were hella sharp as I swam by and that shit cut me like four times. One of my cuts is pretty bad on my ankle.
After snorkeling, we all went to the blow hole and Sandy Beach area except for Nanwhore and Christiqua b/c they're pussies. haha. The rest of us chilled and had a bbq with Matt's older bro and his friends. The waves at Sandy Beach are HELLA big. I'm talkin they could average around 10 ft. But luckily that time of the day it wasn't that strong. I'm sure i was wiped out a few times when i got in there. Like when I tried to just go in just to rinse off all the sand on me; I couldn't swim out of the wave for some reason and it just pushed me all the way to shore and I laid there face down in the sand with sand all up in my hair and suit. It was quite painful shall I say.
On the way back to our hotel from Sandy Beach, 8 of us piled into Matt's bro's truck bed. It's actually pretty fun riding in the truck bed, b/c it's not illegal in Hawaii. And once we got back to the hotel I don't think we did anything too drastic.
SAT: Our very last day.. AWW SO SAD! Once again the girls went surfing except for Nancy and I. We just went shopping all around the International Market so I could get souvenirs for myself and others. I HAD FUN WITH YOU NANHOE! Then at dinner we went to ZIPPY'S again and got dessert at DAVE'S Ice Cream Shop. "T'ree Chinee Lichee" hehe I will remember that quote from this t-shirt I saw in there.
After dinner, just the girls and like 2 of the guys went clubbing at "O" Lounge. Once again we hustled our way in which was great. It was pretty crowded that night but I had fun just chillin. We left about 1:30ish and caught a ride with one of Christine's friend who drove a slammed datsun. So two of us were squished in the front seat and the other 6 people were in the truck bed. Whenever we were just one block away from the damn hotel, we got pulled over for recon and safety check. THAT SUCKED!
